I-Dolls

I-Dolls explores the objectification of the body within contemporary visual culture. The series presents figures that appear stylised, artificial, or doll-like, evoking the transformation of human subjects into aesthetic objects designed for display.

Through digitally manipulated photography and carefully staged compositions, the work examines the processes through which bodies are idealised, commodified, and circulated as images. The visual language draws on references to fashion imagery, consumer culture, and the aesthetics of collectible objects.

By blurring the boundary between person and object, the series reflects on how identity and value can become intertwined with the visual economies of desire, consumption, and spectacle.
